My Parent Village began by struggling to find the right exchange platform myself and listening to other parents: what we struggled to find and what we wanted to pass on. Those conversations shaped the platform you see today.

My Parent Village began with the needs women shared during and after pregnancy: finding useful baby items nearby, passing things on simply, and feeling confident about the parent on the other side of an exchange.
The goal
Make it easier for families to buy, sell and donate children’s essentials locally, while building a marketplace that feels human and trustworthy.

This is only the beginning. We will keep listening to local parents and develop additional features around the way families actually meet, reuse and pass things on.
